1922 Founding of the company by Eugen Gutmann in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen as
Süddeutsche Poliermaschinenfabrik.
1925 Relocation of the company office to Leonberg into a former carpentry shop.
1955 Beginning of the production of plastic parts made of thermoplastics and duroplastics.  
1958 Axel Eppinger (husband of Beate Eppinger, née Gutmann) becomes Managing Partner.
1969 Relocation to the new building in the Ramtel industrial park in Leonberg.
1970 Commissioning of the automatic brush machine, at that time the fastest in the world.  
1971 In-house tool manufacturing is set up.  
1975 Commissioning of the world-wide first CNC-controlled automatic brush machine.  
1981 Beginning of the manufacturing and marketing of stenter brushes.  
1987 Introduction of the TSG die-casting process.  
1998 Relocation of the plastic injection moulding production into a newly-built hall.
2000 Dedication of the new administration building.
2001 Introduction of a quality management system according
to DIN ISO 9001.
2004 Founding of a branch plant in Koŝice, Slovakia.  
2010 Development and market introduction of the laser-welded
pad drive disk RED SHARK.
