ARTIFICIAL FIBRES
PA 6
(Polyamide 6)
-30 140 80 9.5 + + - O Good bend recovery, good wear resistance, fibre material for premium demands for cleaning, transport, sealing, etc.
PA 6 / EL (Polyamide 6 el. conducting) -30 140 80 9.5 + + - O Properties similar to PA fibres, but modified for electrical conductivity and thereby somewhat stiffer and more brittle.
PA 6.6
(Polyamid 6.6)
-30 160 100 8.5 + + - O Stiff fibre material, very good bend recovery, very good wear resistance, high application temperature.
PA 6.10
(Polyamide 6.10)

-40 120 70 3.0 + + - O Conforms to very high requirements and has excellent wear resistance. Especially suited for use in wet areas due to very low water absorption.
PA 6.12
(Polyamide  6.12)

-40 120 70 3.0 + + - + Conforms to the highest requirements and has greatest wear resistance of all PA fibres. Especially suited for use in wet areas because of very low water absorption.

SIC grinding grain fibre (substrate material  PA 6.10)

-40 120 80 3.5 + + - O The substrate material is a polyamide fibre in which different grit sizes of silicon carbide are stored. Highly abrasive and ideally suited for cleaning heavily soiled, rugged substrates as well as for deburring, grinding, or roughening metals, plastics, wood, or other surfaces.
PP
(Polypropylene)

0 80 60 0.0 + + + O Standard fibre with sufficient bend recovery and average wear resistance. Because of its very good resistance to chemicals and its 100% water resistances, it is preferred for floor cleaning, in outdoor areas, for sealing gates, in electroplating, and innumerable additional uses.
PBT
(Polybutyl enterephthalate)
-30 160 100 0.3 + + + + Very flexible fibre with excellent bend recovery, very good wear resistance, excellent long-term thermal stability against dry heat. Extremely low water absorption, therefore also well suited for use in wet areas.
PET
(Polyethylene terephthalate)
-20 140 90 0.5 + + + O Quite stiff fibre with good bend recovery, sensitive to buckling, good wear resistance;
PVC
(Polyvinylchloride disk)
-20 55 0.0 O / + O O / - - No water absorption, great elasticity, small buckling strength. Inexpensive alternative for simple applications.
Pekalon 300 200 0.6 + + + - High stiffness and wear resistance, very low water absorption. Especially developed for use under consistently high temperatures.
NATURAL FIBRES
Mexico Fibre -20 160 ~ 35 O O O O Obtained from the leaf ribs of primarily two Mexican agave species, Mexico Fibre has an exceptional resistance against acid, alkali, and heat, and is highly elastic with ideal water absorption. Application areas: wood surface processing, metal polishing, scrubbing brushes, massage brushes ...
Bassine -20 80 ~ 35 - - - - This stable natural fibre of the tapioca palm is primarily used for coarse brooms and for dry or spray polishing of floors.
Arenga -20 80 ~ 35 - - - - A palm fibre which comes primarily from the sugar palm. It is somewhat finer, softer, tougher and more elastic than bassine. It is likewise primarily used for coarse brooms and for dry or spray polishing of floors.
UNION -Natural mix
50 % Bassine
50 % Arenga
-20 80 ~ 35         This natural fibre mixture unites the properties of bassine and arenga fibre in a mixture of 50% each.
Goat hair -20 130 ~ 35 O O O O Very fine and soft facing material. Dust binding and little static loading. Excellent wipe and sealing effect. Used in the cosmetics industry and for the maintenance of furniture, high-fidelity equipment, photo lenses etc.
Horsehair -20 130 ~ 35 O O O O The term "horsehair" comprises primarily mane and tail hair. It has very good wiping, sealing and dusting properties, has little static loading and is primarily used for sealing in dry areas. Additional application areas are the dusting of veneer and coated wooden surfaces as well as the application of liquids (good brush effect).
Hog bristle / Chungking -20 130 ~ 35 O O O O Very good wiping, sealing and dusting properties and little static loading. Similar areas of applications as horsehair, but has sturdier bristles with extremely good bend recovery.
METAL FIBRES
Cast iron wire +400°C O O O O General sealing in greater temperature range, cleaning and deburring of metal surfaces.
V2A wire +400°C + + + + Usage for corrosion-protected sealing in metal treatment facilities, surface treatment of metal and hardwood.
Brass wire +170°C O O O O General sealing, surface treatment of metals and wood.
Phosphorous bronze wire +170°C O O O O General sealing, good electrical conductivity, surface treatment of metals and wood.
